Sea Gardens
Grow your own algae

Seagardens are similar to the basic idea of community gardens on land, but are oriented towards cultivation in water. In Denmark, several gardens of this type already exist; in Germany, there is currently only one.

  • Learn more about marine gardens and their benefits for people and the environment
  • Learn how to grow your own algae with a detailed example scenario for setting up a marine garden in Northern Germany.
  • Let yourself be inspired and create your own ocean garden as a community project!
