Visiting Germany's first marine garden

On August 20, participants from Denmark and Germany came together in Flensburg for a cross-border event on marine gardens. The event offered the opportunity to get to know the first marine garden in Germany and to exchange experiences and ideas across borders. The participants were introduced to the concept and discussed the potential of marine gardens, the cultivation of algae, and the use of marine resources. At the same time, the event provided an informal framework for networking and exchange between actors working with algae and sustainable food production in the German-Danish region.
