European Maritime Days in Svendborg

At the end of August 2024, AlgaeFood took part in the European Maritime Days in Svendborg.

We took the opportunity to present seaweed as a food product at Bendixens Fiskehandel. We spent an afternoon presenting a range of simple seaweed treats to customers and sales staff, which were very well received. Many customers asked why the products were not available in the shops. Afterwards, we were able to establish contact between the fishmonger and one of the local seaweed suppliers, who were open to adding Danish seaweed to their range in the future!
