On 16-17 September, all partners of the AlgaeFood project came together for the annual meeting at the ALTE MU in Kiel. The results and experiences of the past year were presented and the participants jointly developed ideas and plans for the final phase of the project.
Among the participants were Coastal Research Management (CRM) and oceanBASIS, who acted as hosts, as well as Sustainable Projects (s.Pro), Fjord&Bælt, PeninsulaNature and the lead partner Syddansk Universitet (SDU).
The meeting also included a delicious vegetarian lunch with seaweed - prepared by the German company „Reste Ritter“, which specialises in processing residual raw materials. There was also time for an inspiring excursion to the SeaLevel exhibition in the centre of Kiel.
All in all, it was an insightful meeting with valuable dialogue between colleagues and many new ideas- and a great atmosphere!
