The 14th Nordic Seaweed Conference took place on 8 and 9 October - organised by Aarhus University.
Two days full of exciting presentations, inspiring talks and lots of new knowledge about the enormous potential of seaweed!
The topics ranged from algae as food and consumer acceptance to sustainable production and the role of algae in our marine ecosystems.
We also visited Pure Algae, a company that develops land-based systems for cultivating algae.
The culinary highlight was an exquisite dinner in the Kattegat Centre - with three delicious courses, all with locally harvested seaweed.
