On May 16, the crossborder cooking event "OceanFamilyFestival" took place in Kollund. Around 30 participants learned about algae as food. Afterwards, the algae could be tried in various dishes.

On May 17, AlgaeFood was represented with a stand at the Gottorf Landmarkt. Hundreds of interested people were able to try algae in various dips at our stand. Volker Fuhrwerk cooked a great dish with smoked fucus at the neighboring stand with support from Susanne. This year too, we will be cooking together with Volker Fuhrwerk a great algae dish at the Gottorf Landmarkt from 13:00 onwards. Again, 120 portions will be served to interested and eager-to-taste people.

The „Madens Folk Meeting 2026“ in Nykøbing Falster was a great success with over 40,000 visitors.
